Bucks County Audubon Society (BCAS) is a private, non-profit organization founded as a chapter of the National Audubon Society in 1969. Since its inception, BCAS has been dedicated to conserving wildlife, promoting awareness of environmental problems watching birds, educating the community about the interdependence of humans and their world, and furthering the wise use of land, air, and water. Our trails are open every day for your responsible enjoyment. Get outside!
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED! Do you like the outdoors? Do you believe in conserving our natural environment? Do you want to make a difference with fellow minded naturalists? If so, Bucks County Audubon Society needs YOU! We're looking for greeters for our visitor center on Saturdays and Sundays. It would consist of welcoming visitors and answering basic questions, answering phones and taking messages, and other administrative work we need help with on occasion. Environmental and conservation education, bird and wildlife protection, year-round events that educate the community about our mission
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
All of our staff have backgrounds in education, non-profits, and business. Our Board of Directors come from all walks of life and are dedicated to our mission.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We're the only Audubon chapter in Bucks County. We are also part of the Honey Hollow Watershed, the only agriculturally based National Historic Landmark in the U.S.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We have one location in Solebury Township. We plan to expand our regular and business memberships.

Our address is: 2877 Creamery Road, New Hope, PA 18938. From points south: Proceed on Rt. 263 N. through Peddler's Village. Make a right at Creamery Road (keep an eye out- it's elevated) and BCAS will be on your right. What type of payments do you accept?
We accept cash, checks, credit cards, and PayPal for memberships and donations. We accept all forms of payment for bird seed from our Bird Seed Shed.
Which areas do you service?
We service all of Bucks County. Our members also come from New Jersey, as well as the five-county Philadelphia area.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
We are an independent chapter of the National Audubon Society. All of our events are run buy volunteers and staff, and almost all of our funding comes from donations and grants.
What are your hours of operation?
Our trails are open from dawn till dusk and our visitor center is open Monday through Friday from 10-5. We will also have the visitor center open on weekends generally from 10-4. Please check our website for schedule updates.
